BNC NCWEB Centre Annual Report - 2018


NCWEB Report 2018 The BNC NCWEB Centre was started in the academic session of 2016-17. It has been making valuable contributions towards the all round development of the students by providing them a vibrant academic as well as cultural environment.

The total number of students registered in the centre as of 2018 is 688. An orientation program for the new students was held in the MP Hall from 10 am onwards on 12th August, 2017. The teacher-in-charge Dr.Anjana Gupta welcomed and addressed the students. Dr. Gupta briefly introduced the students to the set up of NCWEB and the facilities available. She acquainted the students about the schedule of classes, the library, cultural and academic activities of the centre. Thereafter' the teaching faculty members of the centre introduced themselves and interacted with the students. The total number of teaching staff in the centre is 25.

The annual cultural and sports meet was cheap replica breitling colt watches organised on 23rd December 2017. The cultural programme consisted of Fashion Show, Solo Dance, Rangoli, Mehandi competitions. The Annual Sports Meet consisted of 100 meter race, lemon race, musical chair, etc. The students participated enthusiastically and in huge number in the competitions and thoroughly enjoyed it.

The Annual Day was celebrated on 5th March 2018 from 11 am onwards in the MP Hall of the college. The event started with the lighting of the lamp. Thereafter the Principal, Dr. Purabi Saikia addressed the students. The students then presented cultural dances to welcome the staff and students. It was followed by the distribution of prizes for all the winners of academic, sports and cultural activities.

The first batch of the BNC NCWEB Centre also excelled in their academic performance. The passing percentage of B Com is 94.6% and that of B.A. is 85%. The centre library has a collection of approximately 140 books to help the students in their reference work. Two students of the centre also won consolation prizes in the poster making competition and painting competition in the Udaan festival organised by the Delhi University.

The centre recognises the initiatives, co-operation and guidance of the Principal, Dr. Purabi Saikia, Director of the NCWEB, Dr. Anju Gupta and Teacher-in-Charge of replica breitling avenger bandit watches BNC Centre Dr. Anjana Gupta.
